Uganda Tailor-made Gorilla Trekking Safaris
Uganda is such a diverse destination it means that a huge selection of tailor-made safaris are possible. When flying into Entebbe there are a number of possible routes however our favourite one incorporates tracking the chimpanzees of Kibale Forest, visiting the savannah game of Queen Elizabeth National Park, the tree climbing lions of Ishasha and tracking the endangered mountain gorillas of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
Tailor-made safaris to Uganda can vary in length from a 3 day fly in gorilla tracking safari in Bwindi to a short 8 day safari taking in some of the highlights mentioned above, to a 12-14 day safari taking in all of the Ugandan wildlife highlights and also combining with an extension to track the mountain gorillas in Rwanda as well. Prices vary hugely from approximately £2,000 for a short gorilla safari to £5-7,000 for a two week tailor-made safari staying in the best Ugandan accommodation available.
